Slow semester and house cleaning

So I've been in school for almost 2 months now and I still feel like nothing is happening. That terrifies me.

But.... I applied to McGill University in Montreal 2 days ago! I am so excited. I'm going for a Bachelor of Arts in English Lit and something else. I am so excited!
I hope I get in, but I have good enough marks... we'll have to see!

The horse I'm half-boarding has been limping and now he's better so we're slowly starting riding again which is also good.

& today I splurged on music. Bought some Smiths, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and a Radiohead vinyl. British invasion much? I've always been a bit of an Anglophile... (a bit! ha! everyone i know laughs at that understatement!). Blame it on Harry Potter, I don't know :P

On worse news my job is starting to be terrible. The schedule changes every week and it's very very very very very annoying. It's hard to priortize school work when you don't know whether you're working the weekend until Friday. I'm probably going to have to quit. And then the job search starts again.

That's about it :) Hopefully everyone is having a great Autumn so far. Here it's just been raining like crazy, but the colours are starting to become pretty.
